Presentation of the Champagne Boërl & Kroff

Boërl & Kroff
Bouteille champagne Boërl & Kroff 1995

Thanks to the active collaboration of Mr. Michel Drappier for many years, and to the excellence of his wines as well as his family's for several generations, we were able to create the Champagne Boërl & Kroff. Here is its presentation.

The range of the Champagne Boërl & Kroff only exists in magnum format, and is composed of vintages 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2002, and in October 2010, a transparent glass magnum of pink brut sans année (brut without vintage) was added to our range of products.

The 1996 Champagne Boërl & Kroff is composed of 90% of pinot noir, 7% of chardonnay and 3% of pinot meunier, all from the best vintages of the Aube region.

This exceptional vintage (1996) was elabored with the passing years, and a constant observation allowed to follow its development and to aim our work at obtaining this unique Champagne.

Despite the fact that 1996, vintages of the 20th century, the same care has been taken for the elaboration of 1995, 1998 and 2002, as well as of brut sans année.

This oenological work allowed ti highlight this wine aimed at being the most expensive Champagne of the world in its category. We produced a stopper exclusively made of natural cork (without any agglomerated cork) and composed of five pieces for an exceptionally long ageing. The parts in contact with the wine have been analysed individually in order to avoid any risk of abnormal tastes attributable to the cork. This stopper is "imprisoned" in a muselet which plate, made of full eighteen-carat gold, engraved and bearing the same number as the magnum, was created by a prestigious French jeweller.

The casket is made of full wood lacquered black, and its inner part is covered with alcantara. It is produced in France by a company whose clients are Swiss jewellers exclusively. The woods comme from forests which working is controlled, and only replanted trees are used.

Bouteille champagne Boërl & Kroff - B A second over packaging casket made of synthetic isothermal foam, created also to absorb eventual important shocks guaranteeing therefore an optical protection of the magnum, protects the whole in an exclusive way.

The ice bucket is produced in France by the world's leader of shiny tin, renowned supplier of the most prestigious wineries in the world. Its concept of a double wall avoids the condensation on the external surface and increases the preservation of the ice. It has been created by one of the greatest French designers and can "receive" up to three magnums of Boërl & Kroff.

The Champagne Boërl & Kroff is, in its category, the most expensive Champagne in the World, since for the first time, the world's best professionals of oenology, jewellery, goldsmith's trade, etc. worked together, and will work together again for the future vintages, still bottled in magnums.

The Champagne Boërl & Kroff is simply unique.
